Panal
Early-'80s hex-pad electronic drums
VST3 · Windows 10/11, 64-bit · browser version included
Big, swooping synth toms, zappy snares and a gated room, played on a honeycomb of hexagonal pads. Panal goes after the electronic drum sound of the early '80s, a sound few plugins cover.

About Panal
Panal's 12 hexagonal pads hold four swooping toms, a kick, a zap snare, a clap and a laser, plus closed and open hats, a ride and a crash. Hit a pad near its center for a full-strength hit, or near the edge for a softer one.
Every pad can be reshaped, from its pitch and sweep to its noise and tone, and sent into a gated room for that huge, cut-off '80s sound. Patterns of up to 8 bars, from tom fills to synthpop and electro, get you started.
