A snare built the way a real one works: a drum head, snare wires rattling underneath, the stick itself, and claps from several hands slightly out of time, all running into a gated '80s room.
About Chasquido
Chasquido models each part of a snare drum separately. The head rings with eight vibration modes, the wires rattle along with the skin, and the stick can hit the head, the rim or across it. Add claps from two to six hands, then send it all into the big, squashed, gated room of '80s records.
Every hit has four slight variations that rotate, so a snare roll never sounds like a machine gun, and ghost notes play softer and a little lower, as on a real drum. It's Golpe's natural partner.
