Cuero

Physically modeled congas and bongos

VST3 · Windows 10/11, 64-bit · browser version included

Congas and bongos synthesized from the physics of a rawhide head: where you strike changes the tone, just as it does on the real drum.

About Cuero

Cuero gives you three congas (quinto, conga and tumba), two bongos (macho and hembra), and clave, cowbell and güiro for the full percussion section. Each drum is modeled from its size, tension, hide and shell, so you can tune and reshape it like a real one.

Play with six hand strokes, from open tones and slaps to bass and heel, and move the strike from the center to the rim. Then build grooves in the sequencer with more than 20 built-in Latin patterns, including 6/8 and 12/8 feels on a triplet grid.
