Attack
Slow lets the kick and snare hit through before the glue grabs, for more punch. Fast flattens the hits for a tight, dense sound.

Using it on your drums
- Glue
- Turns the compressor up. Threshold and ratio move together, so one knob goes from a light touch to a heavy squash.
- Heat
- Soft tape-style saturation after the compressor. It rounds off peaks and adds warmth without making the kit louder.
- Mix
- Below 100% blends the clean kit back in. A heavy Glue setting at 40–60% Mix is classic parallel compression.
- Output
- Use it to match levels with Bypass, so you judge the tone and not just the loudness. The Level change readout helps.
- Bypass
- Flip it on and off while the loop plays. Good glue sounds like the kit is in one room, not like it got quieter.
- Your own drums
- Load a WAV or MP3 loop, such as a Golpe, Cuero or Polvo demo, to hear Pegamento on your own sounds.
